Charles “Chuck” Taylor graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1975. He practices primarily in the areas of defense of personal injury cases, commercial and corporate litigation, defense of employment discrimination matters and construction litigation. Although he regularly practices in state courts throughout East Tennessee, the majority of his practice is in the federal court system. He has over thirty years of trial experience, and has numerous reported cases from the state and federal appellate courts. Chuck is an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Chuck received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University where he also completed a year of graduate work in constitutional law. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and was a helicopter pilot for many years in the Tennessee Army National Guard. Chuck is married and has one daughter. His wife, Terri, worked as a special education teacher for Knox County Schools for over thirty years. He and his family enjoy sailing, snow skiing, fly fishing, and raising Arabian horses.
